PMPRF Winter 2012 Newsletter
Happy New Year from the PMP Research Foundation! We've got lots of exciting news to share, and plenty of events and fundraising activities planned for 2012.
Beginning on February 21st through March 7th 2012, The PMP Research Foundation will be holding an online auction through Bidding for Good to raise much needed funds for PMP Cancer Research and Education.

2011 was a fantastic year for PMPRF fundraising! Our two main fundraising events, the Philly PMP Cancer Awareness Walk and the Cleveland Summer Scurry, raised well over $40,000 and $80,000 respectively.
The Second Annual PMP Pub Crawl crew in Connecticut raised an amazing $13,000 - over 600% of their goal! The first annual PuMP Out with Jeff in NC raised over $8,000, an incredible result for an inaugural event. Tim Shaughnessy completed the CareFirst Half-Marathon in 2 hours, 4 minutes, and 18 seconds, and surpassed his fundraising goal for PMPRF. Brenda Carawan successfully completed the Badwater Ultramarathon and raised over $2,000 for PMPRF in the process.

PMPRF is thrilled to announce the recipients of our 2011 Grant Program: Dr. Marcello Deraco from Italy, two-time recipient Dr. Andrew Renehan from the UK, and our own advisory board member Dr. Andrew Lowy from the US.

PMPRF is proud to have awarded over $450,000 for promising PMP research studies in just three years.
