Our Third Annual Summer Scurry took place on August 13, 2011 in Independence Ohio, and raised $84,000 this year to benefit PMP research funded by PMPRF. It was once again an incredible day filled with family fun. See more at www.summerscurry.org.

PMPRF is proud to announce that it has become a member of the American Society of Peritoneal Surface Malignancies.
One of ASPSM's initiatives is to create a patient registry of patients with peritoneal surface malignancies, including PMP. This program, called PROGRESS in PSM aims to collect patient data from PMP patients and their physicians regarding how the most common peritoneal surface malignancies are diagnosed, how the the patients are treated, and their outcomes.
Collection and analysis of these data will help all healthcare providers and patients understand the importance of early recognition of the common signs and symptoms of peritoneal surface malignancies, as well as the importance of early referral to a multidisciplinary treatment center.

Beginning on February 21, 2012 through March 7, 2012, the PMP Research Foundation will be holding an online auction to raise much needed funds for PMP Cancer Research and Education.

Our event is scheduled to support Rare Disease Day on February 29, 2012 in order to spread awareness of PMP and the general message of Rare Disease Day.

PMPRF has raised over a half million dollars in three short years, and as of the end of this year, we will have funded $450,000 in promising research studies designed to improve the lives of PMP patients.
