MicroRNA Profiling of Clinically Different Pseudomyxoma Peritonei Phenotypes
"The initial 6 months has involved optimizing the laboratory procedures further and allowed us to perform some preliminary molecular studies on the genes that may be abnormally switched on or off in pseudomyxoma peritonei.
These have provided clear evidence that our methodology is sound, and that gene expression studies in pseudomyxoma peritonei are indeed possible, and can identify useful genetic details.
We are now hoping to complete our optimizing steps and then fully profile our previously identified panel of tumuor tissue."
